Hoosick Falls hamfest – a success!

It was cold, it was windy, but that didn’t stop hams from the capital district and even as far away as Western Massachusetts from attending the annual Hoosick Amateur Radio Club hamfest. The event was held at the Hoosick Central school district, just East of Albany, off NY-22 in Hoosick Falls, NY.

A smaller, indoor hamfest run by the Hoosick Amateur Radio Club, the hamfest hosted several vendors, along with the ARRL. Section manager John Fritze, Jr. K2QY and Hudson Division Director Ria Jairam, N2RJ were in attendance. There were many prize giveaways, including tools and test equipment.
