At the recent World Makers Faire held at the New York Hall of Science,
Amateur Radio was in attendance and represented by the Garden School,
the Hall of Science Amateur Radio Club, and by HamHacks. They did a
superb job demonstrating the very best of our Amateur Radio Service!
– The Garden School students, led by teacher John Hale, did a great job
engaging the public through kit-building. They helped demonstrate the
educational benefits of having students engaged in the STEM disciplines.
Garden School ARC was recognized with an Editor’s Choice Blue Ribbon.
Congratulations!
– The Hall of Science ARC worked hard to get people on the air! Thanks
to your volunteers for organizing the co-exhibit with Garden School.
– HamHacks had a fantastic exhibit and team – showing off a whole lot
of innovation. Thanks for your contribution to the “cool factor,”
and for organizing such dynamic exhibits.
