I’m finally catching up on sleep after the Dayton Hamvention.  Thanks
to all who stopped by to say hi to me at the ARRL Expo.

For those of you who are not heading out of town this Memorial Day
Weekend, please take the time to make a trip this Saturday, May 28th,
to Washington Township, N.J., for the annual Bergen Amateur Radio
Association (BARA) Spring Hamfest.

The Hamfest will once again be at:

– Rain or Shine- the Hamfest will have Indoor spaces and Outdoor
Tailgating spaces.
– Amateur Testing: Technician thru Extra class exams – 8:00 am –
10:00 am  (Please bring Photo ID and if previously licensed your
original FCC license and a photo-copy).  The fee for Amateur testing is
$15.00
– DXCC Card Checking courtesy of North Jersey DX Association
– Lots of Parking
– The Hamfest is open for vendors at 6AM, and at 8AM for buyers.
– Rest Room Facilities
– Refreshments – Breakfast and Lunch
– Talk-in on 146.19/79 Repeater PL 141.3 & 146.52 Simplex

Put the date aside!  The Hudson Division annual awards luncheon will be
held this year on November 5th.  The event will be hosted by the Orange
County Amateur Radio Club and will be held in Newburg, NY.
